more videos!

Once again parents and friends, this blog is not blogging like it used to. LOL!  Blogger changed their app and the picture/ video upload time is excruciatingly slow, if it happens at all.  I hope you all are following on IG because that upload time is very fast and I’m able to get more posted, quickly.  YouTube also uploads quickly so as far as this blog is concerned I’ll be posting the YouTube video links here (because just post a link is nothing) and I ask you to please check IG for pictures.  I’ll still post here everyday because I can explain I’m more detail what’s happening.

Yesterday:

We started the day in class then went to lunch together:

After lunch we took a 35¢ bus to the reptile museum in Carolina park.  We couldn’t take pictures in the zoo because many of the frogs, snakes, and turtles are trafficked abroad and are highly sought after

Afterward we walked through the huge beautiful park to the mall QuiCentro where we went bowling

Once we got back from bowling we learned that we were invited to a wedding party.  Khylen and Isaiah’s host parents got married (in their 70s).  Their mom was a widow and the dad is a divorcee.  The party was fun and the students were able to put the to good use the dance moves they learn at our BEST Latin Dance workshops.

It was a great night we all went home exhausted and slept well!

Yesterday ended in a great wedding party at Khylen and Isaiah’s house.  Their host parents got married early that day and we were invited to celebrate with them.  Both in the 70s their mom was a widow and their host dad was divorced.  They were so happy to have us and we had a blast!
