Bodyguards

So allegedly we are in the hood.  No drug addicts, no one selling drugs, no gangs, no thieves... but allegedly it’s the hood *shrugs*. Our program coordinator, Alex, and all the host families insist that we are always escorted, but what cracks me up is that most of the time our body guards are the family or neighborhood children.  Poor Dr Malik can’t even walk to my house (approximately 10 houses) without her 11 year old twin host sisters.  Today when leaving school the three students who live closest (3 houses away from me) were met by their bodyguards for the 3 minute walk.  Here are their pictures.
