Family & La Plaza de Trinidad

We all met in front of the school at 7:30pm and boarded the tour bus to go hang out in the old town.  That’s is the part of Cartagena that was first built hundreds of years ago with the beautiful cobble stone street and colorful houses. But, before going to the old town we stopped by Alex’s parents’ house and met his mom, dad, and a few sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins who live on the same block.  Family is numero 1 in Latin America, the family are full of love, laughter, and quality time.  A couple (about 5) of the younger family members joined us on the bus and came to the old town with us.  Our boys make friends so easily, and people really enjoy them despite the language barrier.  Once we arrived in the old town  I split from the group with Alex to try and get money from the ATM but that was an epic fail.  Once we met up with Dr Malik, the BEST Boys, and the rest of Alex’s family I was sooooo pleasantly surprised to see them dancing Zumba in the Plaza de Trinidad.  It’s was beautiful.  Take a look at these videos to see what I mean!
